- Technician confirmed that there is significant noise, primarily from right rear of vehicle. Upon further assessment, technician noted that immediately upon lifting vehicle, right rear wheel has significant movement indicating that wheel bearing and/or other failures are present. Attempted to remove lug nuts and wheel to further inspection extent of damage but one lug nut is seized and will not come off. At this time, showed customer initial findings and advised that moving forward with inspection will result in broken wheel stud and require further repairs. Customer requested estimate for potential worst case scenario- Provided customer estimate for, right rear brake drum, spindle, brake shoes and hardware. Customer does not wish to perform further inspection or repairs and will have vehicle towed back to repair shop closer to home. No further work performed.
