- Confirmed all dash lights are illuminated and vehicle erratic behavior when driving. Confirmed various transmission related codes are present. Performed complete vehicle inspection and found no evidence of external transmission concerns- No leaks, damaged wires or sign of failure. Monitored transmission data and did not notice any issues. Cleared codes and test drove. No codes returned however, hesitation and abnormal shifting was still present. Customer advised that there is a need to start with fluid servicing to ensure fluid is in acceptable condition and at the correct level. Vehicle came in at 35,xxx miles with low transmission fluid condition that might now be creating issues. Customer approved recommended service and rechecking.
- Fluid was in marginal condition- No sign of metal or foreign material in fluid when drained. Filled transmission to appropriate level and test drove. No noticeable issues present during two separate test drives.
