- Confirmed customer's concern during initial test drive. Noticed no issues with brake function or change in noise when brakes were applied. Technician performed inspection of vehicle and found that an exhaust heat shield had become dislodged and fallen down exhaust pipe and was cause for rattle. Customer advised that heat shield can be remounted using metal tapping screws to eliminate rattle. Customer approved remounting of heat shield. Customer also advised that water pump appears to be leaking and should be inspected further to confirm replacement/repair needs.
