Services Performed
- Confirmed customer concern- there was no vibration however but noticed that while driving in certain condition/road surfaces and turning, the rear of the vehicle would become unstable. Upon assessment of possible issues/concerns, technician checked alignment- alignment required adjustment for a third time in 18,000 miles. Made necessary adjustment and test drove again- again, vehicle felt unstable. Inspected all steering and suspension components and found that nearly all bushings in rear suspension system are severely rotted and cracking. Most significant movement was found in both rear integral links. Customer advised that although there is multiple areas of concern, the integral links should be replaced first prior to moving on with any other repairs or replacement. Customer approved first recommended repair.
- Removed both rear integral links- Confirmed that all bushings and metal sleeves were completely worn and no longer secure. Installed new links, test drove multiple times and confirmed stability concerns have been resolved.
- Inspect for loose or failing steering/suspension components. Reference manufacturers alignment specifications. Adjust to proper specifications. Test drive
- ALIGNMENT GUARANTEE – THIRD ALIGNMENT PERFORMED WITHIN LAST ~15,000 MILES
