- CHANGE OIL AND FILTER, LUBE CHASSIS & PERFORM 16PT INSPECTION
- Code P0496 for evap flow during non purge cycle. Tested signals from powertrain control module and readings were with specification at this time. Tested flow with the valve commanded off and flow was still present which indicates the valve is internally leaking. Due to the valve being open the engine will pull fuel vapor in and cause running issues. Replace purge solenoid and retest.
- EVAPORATION CONTROL VALVE – Remove & Replace – Purge Valve
